On 18 December 2020, Health Canada released the PRD2020-17 Consultation Paper on the Pest Management Agency's (PMRA) proposed approval for the registration of Imazapyr (Imazapyr) and Habitat Aqua herbicides.
It is known that the main active ingredient of Habitat Aqua herbicide is weed killer. At present, it has been registered in Canada as a weed in non-arable and resistant rape and lentil crops. The proposal is to use the tobacco to control some invasive plants that grow in and around aquatic sites.
