New common name provisionally approved on 19th January 2026 for a phenoxyacetic acid herbicide derivative from Co company.

pentane-1,5-diyl bis[(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)acetate] [3028468-74-5]

Please contact the Maintenance Agency no later then 19th July 2026 for any objections (for example, the name ″pendiclofenate″ infringes on any trademarks). If no objections are received, then the name ″pendiclofenate″ will become approved and will be included in a new edition of ISO 1750 that will include preferred names as well as common names.
